Our organization has been using the 20/20 Insight assessment as a component of our leadership development program since its inception in 1996. We also use the 20/20 Insight separately as a coaching tool for employees working to improve their performance. The 20/20 Insight helps our clients clearly identify gaps in their performance, which is the first step in helping build stronger leadership credibility and become more well-rounded leaders.
20/20 Insight has helped our organization raise the bar in our leadership program. Our clients often tell us the feedback opens their eyes to their “blind spots,” and they are more easily able to identify, develop and improve the skills necessary for leadership effectiveness and advancement. In surveys of our program, comments included that the “20/20 was invaluable for me,” “I recognize my blind spots more,” and they are more self-aware, especially around communication shortcomings and strengths.
One thing I especially like about the 20/20 Insight is the ability to customize the assessment content to align with that of our organization’s nine performance competencies. The report is easy to administer and interpret because it includes colored bar graphs representing each rater group, and each item in the report is linked to a competency. There are also “Highest-Rated Items” and “Lowest-Rated Items” sections which help advisers and their clients quickly identify performance strengths, weaknesses, and trends.
Setting up and sending an assessment is quick and easy, and we have the flexibility to send the assessments through the web-based system or print blank assessments for raters to complete manually. We can also save completed reports as pdf documents and send them electronically to advisers and clients. If we do have a problem or a question, the Tech Support team is always extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful.
I would recommend the 20/20 Insight to anyone looking for an assessment that can help their clients greatly increase their self-awareness in order to improve performance. I would also recommend it to any organization looking to take their leadership program to the next level.
I’ve used 20/20 Insight to facilitate about four dozen 360 assessments and the system is extremely user friendly. Although admittedly a bit intimidating at first (as all new things can be), I easily caught on quickly. The reporting features are particularly helpful in identifying strengths and weaknesses. When confronted with an obstacle, PSS tech support is accessible and always helpful in solving the issue at hand. I recommend 20/20 Insight software.

I have enjoyed a 15 plus year plus relationship with 2020 and have used their technology for a wide variety of custom 360 projects as well as engagement and pulse check surveys. The tech support team knows their system inside and out, are always prompt on answering questions and are extremely helpful with any aspect of a project. They have helped us stretch the capability of their system for our clients in creative ways. They are an great example of true business partners and trusted advisers, and are the very best in this space.
20/20 has made my life so much easier as I collect data for a periodic organizational 360-like assessment. Unlike other software, I can sort and aggregate lots of data reasonably quickly—no need to copy or export into Excel. The reporting software also provides the flexibility to tailor reports and add data or information. My client thought the reports were very professional.
The customer support is incredible! There’s no working through an interactive voice response system. I get a real person who is knowledgeable, patient, and a great communicator. The help desk is incredibly responsive and helps me to do a good job for my clients.
My only regret is that I didn’t learn about 20/20 Insight sooner.
I have been associated with PSS for twenty years or so. The company’s products are state of the Art, user-friendly and a valuable addition to any consultant’s toolbox. Having said that, even the best products will lose their luster if they are not supported by qualified people who bring great people skills to bear on technical problems. PSS has such people!!
Although I have considerable experience with all of the PSS products and can usually solve most problems on my own, from time to time, I am stumped and need someone with quiet patience and expert understanding to help me out. Whether the problem is simple or complex, PSS Tech Support staff ask the right questions, listen carefully to the answers and, only when they are satisfied that they have all of the pertinent information, suggest solutions. All of this is done with cheerful, empathic enthusiasm that sends you away from the interaction feeling good about the experience—often even wishing you had more problems to solve. If you are having difficulties do not hesitate to call Tech Support—you’ll leave the conversation happy, satisfied and more knowledgeable.

We really like 20/20 Insight because we can use it for multiple applications. Our first application was to assess our mid- to upper-management. Our goal was to determine their leadership skills and to begin to introduce a culture change. We wanted to increase our leaders’ soft skills by moving them from strictly a revenue-producing focus to a blend of bottom-line and people skills. We’ve also used 20/20 Insight to assess one of our training programs. The tool was very efficient at gathering and reporting the data. Top management had questioned the usefulness of the program. However, after conducting the survey, the reported ratings and comments provided the evidence we needed of the benefits offered participants.
From an administrator’s point of view, I found the system extremely easy to use for creating and editing assessments and running reports. And their customer support was great! The training we received was very complete, and if we ever had a question about anything they were also very responsive, helpful and pleasant to deal with.
